Noel Isaacs
Noel Isaacs (Sherab Bhotia) is the National Director for Vineyard Himalayas. He was born in India and is Bhutanese. Four generations of his family have hosted and working with thousands of missionaries over the years. He met John Wimber in 1995 and Noel and his wife, Dona, planted the first Vineyard in the Himalayas in 1998 in Kathmandu, Nepal. From that church they have planted over 30 Vineyard churches in the Himalayan region of Nepal and India. Noel and Dona have two sons, Asher and Josh, who are studying in Canada and New Zealand. Noel’s heart is to cooperatively share cross cultural tools relating to when missions and missionaries ‘come’ to his country, as opposed to ‘going’ to other countries. He has often found that missions information is directed towards the aspect of ‘going’ to another country rather than how they were received by those indigenous to the country and culture visited. Noel loves to share God’s stories in the hopes of inspiring vision and passion for missions.
